1995. The disappearance of two girls without a trace shocks the population. While the local media multiply versions of what happened, young detective Paul Chartier joins a secret investigation codenamed “Maldoror.” However, Paul finds standard police methods outdated and ineffective. Contrary to his superiors' orders, he decides to take matters into his own hands and begins hunting the maniac alone.
