The Virgin Spring 1960

Young Karin, spoiled by her parents’ care and love, danced all night and slept through morning service. But canon law requires that a virtuous maiden make a pilgrimage to a distant church. Karin leaves the farmstead together with her half-sister, a pagan. She makes her way through a remote forest, where fate has in store for her a terrifying encounter with three vagabonds.
