The Captive 1915

Montenegro during the Balkan Wars. All able-bodied men had gone to the front, so the Montenegrin government sent Turkish prisoners of war to help the women harvest the crops. A young woman named Sonya, whose brother had also gone to war, was assigned a personal assistant, Mahmoud Hassan—a young Turkish nobleman. And gradually, the relationship between the two young people began to take on a different character.
