The Undesirable 1915

Betty is a young country girl. Before he dies, her father reveals that he is actually her uncle and that he took her in when her mother was sent to prison for murdering her husband. Knowing nothing about her mother’s fate, Betty travels alone to the city in search of work. She finds a job as a maid in the home of a wealthy couple and their son, Nick, with whom she soon falls in love. When Betty is fired due to false accusations of theft and forced to leave town, an unexpected twist of fate brings her together with her mother, Sarah, who has just been released from prison.
