Some smart alecks decided to hide barrels of toxic waste in the basement of an old mansion, right next to the crypt where the bodies of the mistress of the house and her daughter Catherine rested. The filth leaked out and brought the girl back to life. For some reason, decay had spared Catherine’s body—which had been buried two years earlier—but, as befits a true zombie, she was overcome by irresistible cannibalistic urges. Helen, the living-dead girl’s childhood friend, stumbled upon her by chance and decided to act as a supplier of “food” for the starving Catherine.
