After Chris Nielsen’s death in a car accident, he gains immortality and tries to stay close to his beautiful but mortal wife, Annie. With the help of a friendly spirit assigned to him as a guide, he begins to adjust to his new existence in a setting that can only be described as paradise. But when his grief-stricken wife takes her own life, she is cursed and banished to hell for all eternity. Chris tries with all his might to find his beloved so he can be with her forever, but no one has ever succeeded in saving a sinful soul from this terrible—yet deserved—punishment.
