Mabel, a college student, is a nature lover and an active animal rights activist. She is doing everything in her power to save a patch of wilderness—which her grandmother loved so dearly—from an ambitious mayor who intends to complete the construction of a high-speed highway. Suddenly, the girl learns that a professor at her university has developed a technology that allows a person’s consciousness to be transferred into the robotic body of an animal. Without a moment’s hesitation, Mabel jumps into a robot beaver and heads into the forest to convince the animals to return to her favorite clearing and thwart the scheming mayor.
