Riley struggles with alcohol addiction and lives off her brother. One day, having succumbed to the entreaties of her boyfriend, who offered to break into an unguarded container, which most likely contains something valuable, the girl together with him penetrates into the vault and finds there a strange puzzle, similar to a Rubik's cube. The thing fascinates Riley, she begins to twist its parts, not realizing that in this way it is possible to summon cenobites - terrifying creatures with sadistic tendencies from another dimension.
