Quatermass 2 4K 1957

Professor Quatermass receives news of a meteor shower over a remote area of England. Arriving there with his colleague Marsh, Quatermass discovers a large and well-protected scientific complex in the middle of nowhere, and later finds a small meteorite. When Marsh is injured by a substance released from the meteorite, armed men arrive from outside the complex and take Marsh away with them without any explanation. After that, Quatermass decides to find out what exactly they are doing in this secret facility, which resembles his own project to colonize the moon.
