The Farmer 4K 1977

Ex-military man Kyle Martin returns to his hometown and intends to start farming. But buying a farm on an installment plan turns out to be unprofitable, because all the money he earns goes to pay off the interest, and the bank, despite his services to the country, does not want to lower the rate. One day near his farm a local gangster Johnny gets into a car accident, and Kyle saves him by pulling him out of the burning car. In gratitude, Johnny gives the farmer 1500 dollars. But even that isn't enough to save the farm from an impending foreclosure. One day at a horse race, Johnny places a bet after the race has started and wins $50,000. Angered by the violation of the racetrack rules, local mob boss Passini orders his underlings to kill Johnny's bodyguard and blind him with sulfuric acid.
