Thug Black Bandit, escaped African slave Otha Benga, Indian sage, Italian revolutionary Luigi and naturalist Charles Darwin are the heroes of the tale of Hollywood stuntman Roy, who is injured after a failed stunt on a bridge. In a Los Angeles hospital, his fantasies are listened to by a five-year-old girl, Alexandria. But one day Roy learns that his beloved has betrayed him. He no longer wants to live and decides to kill himself.
