This subtle psychological drama tells about a few days of a thirteen-year-old schoolgirl in a difficult age of transition for her and others. Her older brother goes on vacation without her, this charming ugly duckling considers herself ugly, and then a famous concert pianist comes to town, and she is as old as the heroine herself. She is given the opportunity to get acquainted with the prodigy, she promises to take her on tour as a manager, but leaves, of course, without her.... And the "impudent girl" tortures all those she loves, those who are closest to her.
