Twelve colony planets wage a millennia-long war against a robot-like race of Cylons bent on exterminating humanity. Suddenly, the Cylons, through the mediation of Count Baltar, offer a truce. Only Commander Adama of the Battlestar Galactica suspects that the Cylons have prepared a trap. And so it turns out to be.
