1972. For 20 years the government cheese monopoly has been established in totalitarian Switzerland, and not only the insolent who dare to produce illegal dairy products, but also people with lactose intolerance are subjected to repression. The military kills first the lover, then the grandfather of Heidi, an ordinary villager, and the girl herself is sent to prison. But Heidi's spirit cannot be broken so easily - she decides to escape at all costs, to challenge the cheese dictatorship and overthrow the cult of personality of the president who has usurped power.
