In order to earn money for his daughter's medical treatment, Mills, a family man from the planet Somaris, embarks on a two-year exploration mission. While en route, his ship hits an uncharted asteroid belt and crashes, falling apart on an unknown planet. Mills discovers the only survivor of the cryostasized passengers, 12-year-old Koa, and discovers that the terrain is deadly - after all, they were on Earth 65 million years ago. But there is still a chance for rescue, and for this Mills and Koa need to get to the rescue ship, which is stuck on the top of the mountain.
