By chance, Ash is transported to the distant past. Together with his car and a double-barrelled shotgun he finds himself in the 13th century. In this gloomy Middle Ages people suffer from the forces of darkness. Poor Ash was caught by good citizens and placed in the local prison. He could barely convince the judge that he is not a spy from a hostile kingdom at all. He decides to help the people in the battle against their enemies.
To win, he must recover the Necronomicon, an ancient magical book that will help him return to his own time. Inadvertently, Ash has unleashed the Army of Darkness. How do you defeat the living dead?
