All About Eve 1950

Margot Channing, an aging Broadway star, had it all: success, friends, and a young lover. The modest and hardworking Eva becomes her assistant, fulfilling her employer’s every wish. The cynical theater critic Addison De Witt is the first to realize that Eva is driven by a desire to become the “new Margo Channing.” Jaded by life and scornful of the respectability that surrounds him, he decides to help the young careerist.
