Live Free or Die Hard 2007

After an argument with his daughter—with whom he has a complicated relationship—police officer John McClane sets out to pick up hacker Matt Farrell and take him to the FBI’s Cybercrime Division. No sooner have John and Matt stepped out of the apartment than they are suddenly attacked by armed men. After fending off the attackers, McClane tries to reach the FBI and deliver his charge alive and unharmed. At the same time, a group of cyberterrorists hacks into the security systems and takes control of the computer system that manages the nation’s entire infrastructure.
