1: Life on the Limit 2013

A documentary that shows the fascination, speed, danger and excitement of Formula 1 grand prix racing. The movie shows the story of the Golden Age of Formula 1, when the sport was terrifyingly dangerous. In the late 1960s, Formula 1 cars doubled their engine displacement and grew wings, making them not only incredibly fast, but even more dangerous. With the arrival of big money from sponsors and a new international television audience, star pilots were born, thrown like gladiators into the ring. The movie follows the story of racers who struggled on the edge and those who rose up to change the sport forever.
